Clive Ricko also known as ‘DJ Sparks’ has been a DJ now for around 20 years, he started late at the age of 21 playing speed garage.

DJ Sparks then moved onto ‘UKG’ in the early days of his career as a’ UK DJ’. His first venue was in a pub in Redditch and within a few weeks the pub then became very busy like a nightclub!

Clive was approached by a club owner who asked him to play there. This was exciting times for Clive aka DJ Sparks as a new DJ to play at his first nightclub.

12 months or so had passed and Clive decided he wanted to up his game and start playing in Birmingham , his home town. Clive found a spot in a after clubs place and the same thing then happened again ! Within weeks it was absolutely packed out , week in and week out!

DJ Sparks was then approached by Birmingham main and biggest pirate radio station to play on there, ‘Silk City Radio’.  Clive then stayed with Silk City Radio for a further 15 years and in this time he has played in the most biggest events alongside some big names like DJ EZ, DREAM TEAM  and loads more events like GARAGE NATION, SUN CITY, CREAM OF THE CROP and CLUB SILK.

DJ Sparks went over to NAPA with DJ LUCK and MC NEAT, SWEETIE IRE, and ED CASE. He then came back to the UK and did GARAGE NATIONS ‘3rd Birthday Bash’.

                            DJ Sparks now plays all over the Birmingham club scene!

Clive does Radio on Londons Biggest and Longest Radio called’ FLEX FM’ Where he will travel to London once a month to do their Radio show every last saturday of the month. Midlandsmagic present THE FULL HOUSE AND BASS SHOW WITH CLIVE RICKO & LMD & PREDETAHOST.

DJ Sparks now plays House music under a new allias which is ‘CLIVE RICKO’ he plays House and Base, Deep House and Tech House!

Clive is now also working with a Duo called ‘MIDLANDS MAGIC’ which consists of two DJ’S and one Host, they have been a team for two years now.

Clive is a Producer , who has his own studio at home where he is making beats. Clive has done tracks with ‘ED BASE’,’BIG’ and ‘SIOBHAN GALLAGHER’ and more!
